First and foremost, Seth Hampton is an exceptional human being.  He is the rare kind of person who you want to have enter your life because you can be 100% confident that you will be better off as a result.

As a trainer, Seth will help you exceed what you believe is possible for yourself.  I have had a noticeably worrisome hunched-over posture and a rounded thoracic spine since I was in middle school, unfortunately at 56, over 40 years ago. Two years ago, my dysfunctional posture finally caught up with me, and I had an episode of the lower back that kept me flat on my back for over a month.

I reluctantly agreed to my wife’s request to work with Seth. I had a negative attitude, and I was not very nice to Seth. Seth’s positive energy overpowered my negativity, and as long as I “showed up,” he took that as a sign that I was willing to do the work and change.  Although I was only investing minute amounts of effort, Seth helped me invest my efforts wisely, and over time I began to see benefits.

With Seth’s help, I have significantly improved my health, strength, and appearance. I do not know if there is another person in the entire country who could have helped me as much as Seth has. I still have a lot of work to do, but I am confident that if I stick with Seth that I can continue to evolve my physical self in a way that will dramatically contribute to my quality of life.

Micki Alter came to me directly after undergoing Physical therapy due to a shattered femur. She has a pin in her left hip, which caused discomfort and limited range of motion. She could barely walk up steps. We carefully designed a program that involved Glut work and key awareness of how the transverse abdominals connect to every movement. Micki also has heightened scoliosis, so our work also involves lengthening her spine and postural realignment. As a dedicated student, Micki quickly saw results. Within the first year, she was able to comfortably walk-up steps and her overall alignment has improved tremendously. We even do Jump board regularly. Micki is an inspiration and now dear friend and a perfect example of the age reversal process that Pilates has to offer.
